Founded in 2002, Hercon Construction, the parent company of Jeff Herigon Homes, has enjoyed more than a decade of success, built on a philosophy of genuine respect for others.

Jeff Herigon

JEFF HERIGON grew up in Bunceton, Missouri, and has a degree in construction engineering from Central Missouri State University. He and his wife, Tracey, are the parents of two daughters. Brooke is in college; Kate attends Columbia Public Schools.

Before founding Hercon Construction in 2002, Jeff was a construction manager for the University of Missouri, where he oversaw numerous projects, including:

  • $5 million OB/GYN clinic and birthing center renovation at University Hospitals and Clinics and an $8 million ER and radiology suite
  • New state-of-the-art pressbox at Faurot Field
  • $13 million dollar expansion of MU football facilities
  • Stadium Boulevard fence and major renovation of two football practice fields for the MU Athletic Department

After college, Jeff and Tracey both worked for major corporations in Kansas City and Atlanta. Working as a superintendent and estimator for Ryland Group in Atlanta, Jeff gained extensive experience in new home construction, overseeing large developments in Duluth, Dunwoody, Marietta, and Roswell, Georgia.

Working for J.E. Dunn Construction in Kansas City, he managed a number of major projects, including:

  • $100 million building program for Salina, Kansas, public schools
  • $65 million project at North Kansas City Hospital
  • $20 million project at Truman Medical Center
